 Venus Resources Limited is engaged in the exploration of mineral tenements in Western Australia. It is exploring for buried diamond pipes located along strike from the Argyle Diamond Mine. The Company has acquired either through pegging or dealings a total of 1022 square kilometers of prospective areas in the East Kimberly and has identified a number of targets, which require drill testing to test for the presence of buried diamond lamproite pipes. In March 2008, the Company entered into an agreement to acquire an 80% interest in four additional exploration licenses located adjacent to its tenement holding in the East Kimberley and along strike from the Argyle Diamond Mine. The tenements cover a total of 503 square kilometers. In June 2008, the Company diversified its exploration interests to include exposure to iron ore and acquired a 100% interest in five exploration license applications located in the Mid West Iron Ore Province immediately on strike.
