Kim Robinson B.Sc (Geology) Chairman Mr Robinson is a founding Director of Kagara. Mr Robinson graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1973 with a degree in Geology and has over 30 years experience in the minerals exploration and mining industries, including 10 years as Executive Chairman of Forrestania Gold NL. During his time at Forrestania, Mr Robinson played a key role in the discovery and development of the Bounty Gold Mine, the development of the Mt McClure Gold Mine and the discovery of the Maggie Hays and Emily Ann nickel sulphide deposits. He was also involved in the discovery and development of the Cosmos nickel deposit. During the past three years he has also served as a director of the following other listed companies: Non - Executive Chairman of Carbon Energy Ltd (September 1992 to date); Non - Executive Chairman of Apex Minerals Ltd (April 2006 to date).
| Geoff Day B.App Sc (Chemistry) M.Sc (Chemistry) Managing Director & CEO Geoff Day has more than 20 years’ experience in the mining industry and joined Kagara Limited in March 2011 as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Kagara, Mr Day was Executive General Manager - Papua New Guinea and Indonesia at Newcrest Mining, where he was responsible for all of Newcrest’s operations in Papua New Guinea and Indonesia, as well as holding executive accountability for health, safety, risk, business excellence, environment and community across all of Newcrest’s business. During his time with Newcrest, Mr Day played a key role in contributing to operational reliability and cost control at the company’s Australian operations, and was also closely involved in building Newcrest’s presence and profile in its expanding overseas operations. Prior to joining Newcrest, Mr Day held the positions of Chief Adviser – Processing, and Regional General Manager - Africa & Europe at Rio Tinto Technology & Innovation. Mr Day has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chemistry) from Deakin University and a Master of Science (Chemistry) from Monash University, as has also undertaken post graduate studies (Geology) at the University of California at Berkeley.
| Joseph Allen Treacy B.App Sc (Geology) Executive Director Mr Treacy has 30 years experience as a geologist specialising in gold, base metals and industrial minerals exploration in Australia and overseas. He is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and his past experience includes directorships of listed companies Kalmet Resources NL, Cove Mining NL and GME Resources NL. During the past three years Mr Treacy has not served as a director of any other listed companies: Non - Executive Chairman of Mungana Goldmines Ltd (April 2009 to date)
| Ross Clive Hutton B Eng (Mining) Non-Executive Director Mr Hutton has over 30 years experience in the mining industry having graduated from the University of Queensland in 1971 with a degree in mining engineering. He has held senior positions in national and international companies in the areas of mining, smelting and project development. Previously, Mr Hutton held the position of Vice President USA Operations with Pasminco. More recently, as a consultant, Mr Hutton conducted feasibility studies on mining projects in Iran and acted as construction superintendent for Kagara on the Mt Garnet Zinc project. He is a member of the Company’s Audit Committee and the Remuneration Committee. During the past three years Mr Hutton has also served as a director of the following other listed company: Non - Executive Director of Drummend Gold Ltd (December 2007 - to date)
| Dr John (Shad) Linley B.Sc (Honours), Dr of Philosophy Non-Executive Director Dr Linley, until April 2008 was CEO of Sun Metals Group Queensland and prior to that, was former Director of the Centre for Strategic Industrial and Resource Development in Queensland. During his term at the Centre, he was involved in developing a comprehensive gas strategy together with an assessment of the long term future of the coal industry in Queensland. Formerly, he held several executive positions in Fluor Engineers and prior to that he was Vice President of Texasgulf Australia. He is a member of the Company’s Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee. During the past three years Dr Linley has also served as a director of the following listed companies: Non - Executive Director of Carbon Energy Ltd (July 2008 – 21 May 2009); Non - Executive Director of Marathon Resources Ltd (June 2008 – to date)
| Mark Steven McConnell B.Sc (Geography), MBA, MAICD Non-Executive Director Mr McConnell is the Managing Director of New Territories Investments, a private equity and capital advisory firm, specialising in bilateral trade and investments between Australia and China. He serves on a number of private company boards which operate in the technology and consulting markets, in addition to being a Director of the Hong Kong Australia Business Association (HKABA). Prior to his career in the investment industry, Mark was a commissioned officer in the Royal Australian Air Force where he served for 8 years in a variety of operational positions. He is a member of the Company’s Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee. Mr McConnell facilitated the investment made by Guangdong Foreign Trade Group (GTFG) to become Kagara’s largest shareholder and serves on the board as GTFG’s representative. Mr McConnell has not served as a Director of any other listed companies: Non - Executive Director of Mungana Goldmines Ltd (June 2010 to date)
