| Navigator Resources (ASX: NAV) Limited is engaged in precious and base metal exploration in Western Australia. The Company's operational focus is on gold at Leonora, Western Australia. It owns 100% interest in the Leonora gold project. As of June 30, 2006, the resource at the Leonora gold project was 444,000 ounces of gold. The primary exploration target is the 35-kilometer long Cardinia-Mertondale belt, where the Company has identified two two-kilometer zones of gold mineralization. Drilling of its second two-kilometer gold system at Cardinia has delivered a number of shallow, high-grade gold intersections. The Company also holds nickel, platinum and gold tenements in the East Kimberley region. Navigator Resources Limited has entered into joint ventures with Sally Malay Exploration Ltd at the Wills Creek Nickel project, and with Magma Metals Limited on its Eastman project (prospective for platinum group metals), and Laura River project (prospect for nickel and gold) in the East Kimberley. |
