DIRECTORS / OFFICERS

Hamish Bohannan Chairman Mr Bohannan is a mining engineer with over 30 years experience in managing exploration, mining and metals processing operations throughout Australia, Africa and North and South America. Mr Bohannan was appointed Chairman in February 2007 and has since lead the development of a new strategy that will ensure Tectonic realises the full potential of its most valuable asset, Phillips River. Formerly, Mr Bohannan was Chief Executive Officer of Braemore Resources (2006 - 2008) where he implemented the commercialisation of the CONROAST technology leading to the development of an independent platinum group metals smelter in South Africa. He also previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer for Gallery Gold (2002-2006), where he took the company from a market capitalisation of approximately A$20 million to A$300 million. In addition to a First Class Honours Mining Engineering degree from Royal School of Mines Imperial College in London, Mr Bohannan has a Masters in Business Administration from Deakin University. Mr Bohannan is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Jason Stirbinskis Managing Director Originally a Geologist, Mr Stirbinskis has worked in the resources and finance sectors from greenfield mining operations to IT/telecommunication and finance industry projects over a 20 year history. Jason has worked with or consulted to Newcrest Mining, Goldsworthy Mining, Placer Dome, Woodside Energy, Worsley Alumina and was most recently the Managing Director of Central Asia Resources. Jason has an MBA and substantial experience in banking and finance where he project managed the delivery of several multi-million dollar projects. Jason has also held executive roles at METS and Simulus, both engineering company specialising in metallurgical consulting and greenfield feasibility studies for junior mining companies in Australia and overseas. In 2009 Jason was appointed the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Western Australia. Mr Stirbinskis is a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Tony Martin Non-Executive Director Tony Martin, a geologist with over 20 years experience in exploration, joined the Board in April 2008. Over the last 10 years he has been an executive director of a number of publicly listed and private companies. Most recently he was Chief Executive Officer and Director of Westgold Resources NL responsible for exploration and development of base metals and gold projects in the Tennant Creek region. His former roles also include Managing Director of Navarre Resources Pty Ltd and Executive Director of Helix Resources Limited. Mr Martin currently works as an exploration management consultant. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in geology and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
Joe Totaro Non-Executive Director Mr Totaro is a Certified Practicing Accountant with approximately 25 years of experience in commercial and public practice. Mr Totaro joined the Board in February 2003. For over two decades, Mr Totaro has been involved in the activities of private and listed companies operating in the mining and mining services industry. Mr Totaro's experience includes accounting, taxation and corporate advisory services, having consulted on and managed numerous business sales and acquisitions.
Graham Anderson Company Secretary & CFO Graham Anderson is a graduate of Curtin University and has over 25 years commercial experience as a chartered accountant. He operates his own specialist corporate advisory practice, GDA Corporate, providing a range of corporate advisory and accounting services to both public and private companies. From 1990 to 1999 he was an audit partner at Horwath Perth. He is a Director and Company Secretary of a number of listed and unlisted public companies in both the resource and industrial sectors.
