AirAsia Berhad (AirAsia) is principally engaged in the provision of air transportation services. AirAsia flies to over 100 routes across 11 countries in Asia. Some of its wholly owned subsidiaries include Crunchtime Culinary Services Sdn Bhd, which is engaged the provision of in-flight meals; AA International Ltd, which is engaged in investment holding; AirAsia Go Holiday Sdn Bhd, which is engaged in tour operating business; AirAsia (Mauritius) Limited, which is engaged in providing aircraft leasing facilities, and Airspace Communications Sdn Bhd, which is a media owner with publishing division. On January 8, 2007, the Company acquired 100 more Airbus A320 aircraft. In October 2008, the Company announced that it has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary in the Federal Territory of Labuan, Malaysia known as AirAsia Corporate Services Limited.
