The Company operates its business in the People's Republic of China, through Sino-Global Shipping Agency Ltd. (Sino-China). Sino-China holds the licenses and permits necessary to provide shipping services in the People's Republic of China. Headquartered in Beijing with five branches in Ningbo, Qingdao, Tianjin, Qinhuangdao and Fangchenggang, Sino-China provides general shipping agency services in 76 ports in China, and serves as a local shipping agent in each of these five port cities. On November 13, 2007, the Company formed its wholly foreign-owned enterprise, Trans Pacific Shipping Limited (Trans Pacific) in Beijing. In July 2008, the Company announced that it established a subsidiary, Sino-Global Shipping Australia Pty, Ltd., in Perth, Australia.

The benchmark S&P/ASX200 index rose 89.5 points, or 2.27 per cent, to 4024.4, and the broader All Ordinaries index surged 82.7 points, or 2.1 per cent, at 4016.3. |
