Centaurus Resources Limited (Centaurus) is engaged in mineral exploration. As of June 30, 2009, the Company held iron ore, manganese, base metal and gold projects in Brazil and Australia. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009 (fiscal 2009), the Company acquired Itambe, Passabem and Ferros Iron Ore Projects, as well as Ponte de Pedra Manganese Project. In August 2009, it completed a 654 meter diamond drilling program at the Itambe-1 iron ore project. In August 2009, it completed a 1,000 meter reverse circulation drilling program and 611 meter trenching program of the Passabem project. It also completed two drill campaigns totaling 1291 meters at the Ponte Pedra Manganese project. Centaurus’ subsidiaries include San Greal Resources Pty Ltd, CSLJ Limited, San Greal Resources Do Brasil Mineracao Ltda. During fiscal 2009, it sold its majority of Australian copper-gold projects to Clancy Exploration Ltd (Clancy), with the exception of the Dish Project in Central Western New South Wales.
