Jie Chen Chairman Mr Chen has nearly 30 years operational and management experience, starting his career in 1979 in a large state-owned coal mining enterprise in the PRC. Mr Chen has been chairman of Shandong Group since 2002 and under his leadership, Shandong Group has formed vertically integrated businesses in coal, iron ore mining, processing and manufacturing with operations in Shandong, Guizhou, Ningxia and Xinjiang.
Mr Chen holds a master’s degree in economics and is currently completing a doctorate degree in mine engineering with the China University of Mining and Technology. He has received multiple, distinguished awards at provincial and national levels for achievements including being in the 10 excellent entrepreneurs in Shandong Province, top 20 mine managers in the PRC, and PRC’s excellent entrepreneur.

Gang Xu Managing Director Mr Xu is a geologist with over 20 years experience in mining and energy. He spent 9 years as a senior uranium exploration geologist with the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC). Mr Xu spent a period as finance and marketing manager for Sino Gold Limited as it developed the first international standard mining operation in the PRC. In addition to technical skills and experience in exploration and mining, he has significant diverse experience in business research, marketing and finance.
Mr Xu completed an MBA in the USA in 1997. He also completed masters of geology in the PRC and is a member of AusIMM and AICD.

Anthony Ho Executive Director Mr Ho is a commerce graduate of the University of Western Australia, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1983 with Deloittes. He is the principal of a public practice specialising in corporate and financial services to ASX-listed companies.
Prior to establishing the practice in 1991, Mr Ho spent 7 years in a senior corporate role with a major investment and resource group in Western Australia.
He is a non-executive director of Brumby Resources Limited and Redisland Australia Limited which are listed on ASX.

Qingyong Guo Executive Director Mr Guo is a graduate in mine engineering from the China University of Mining and Technology and worked as a mine engineer for a large China state-owned coal mine and is General Manager of the Coal Project Generation Department for Shandong Group. He was credited for securing Chinese government approvals of two iron ore mining licenses in Shandong Province and one coal mining licence in Northwest China.
In 2004 he completed a master’s degree in mine engineering and is currently working on a doctorate degree in project management.

Karen Logan Company Secretary Ms Logan graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Business Law from Curtin University in Western Australia and completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance with Chartered Secretaries Australia. She is a Chartered Secretary and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
Ms Logan has been a partner of a public practice since 2006 and has significant experience in capital raising projects and ASX listings. She is currently the secretary of a number of ASX-listed companies and provides corporate and accounting advice and services to those clients.

Mark Hafer Exploration Manager Mr Hafer is a geologist with 10 years experience in the minerals exploration and mining industry. He is a member of the Australasian Institute of Geoscientists and an affiliate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. Mr Hafer has undertaken and managed greenfields to brownfields exploration programmes for gold and base metals (including iron and nickel) predominantly in Australia, and in Kazakhstan.
Prior to commencing with Dragon Energy Mark held the Senior Exploration Geologist role with Mount Gibson Iron. Previously he has also worked in the finance industry, including a Mining Commodity Analyst role.

Peter Dillon Operations Consultant Mr. Dillon has over 30 years as an accountant, analyst and commercial manager on mining projects in Australia, China, the Philippines and Papua New Guinea.
He has held management positions on seven new mines including Sino Gold’s inaugural operation in China, the Lafayette base metals project in the Philippines, and with Normandy Mining and Great Central Mines in Australia and has provided consulting services at Porgera in PNG, and to an Australian underground mining contractor. Mr Dillon also undertook early logistics studies on a zinc project in China which subsequently went into production.
He is a member of AusIMM and combines accumulated technical knowledge of mining and minerals processing with vast experience in commercial and financial aspects of the resources sector.

Lindsay Cahill Exploration Consultant Mr Cahill is a graduate in geology from the University of Western Australia and has over 30 years experience in minerals exploration and mining. A member of the AusIMM and the Australian Institute of Geoscientists, he has undertaken and managed exploration and resource development programs for base metals, uranium, mineral sands and gold in a variety of geological environments within Australia, southern Africa, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Mr Cahill was the senior resource geologist for Port Moresby based, Highlands Gold Limited, and held management positions with the Bulong and Marlborough laterite nickel projects.
Since 2003 Mr Cahill has provided consultancy services to the resources sector in a range of commodities, with particular focus on project evaluation and development. Most recently he has been involved with iron ore projects in Africa and Australia.
