Coalworks Limited (ASX:CWK) is engaged in mineral exploration and development. The Company focuses on coal mining and production. Coalworks' flagship project, the Oaklands asset in New South Wales, covers 54 square kilometers and has an inferred and indicated thermal coal Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC) resource of 760 million tons. Coalworks also owns the Ashford Lime Project in New South Wales under EL 6511 (NSW) and the Hodgson Vale Coal Project in Queensland. As of June 30, 2009, Coalworks had completed a five holes drilling program, which tested the potential to the south of the northern area for significant underground coal resources at depths of over 150 meters. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009, the Company entered into a joint venture with Willala Pastoral Co Pty Ltd. Coalworks has a 40% interest in the Willala Pastoral Co Pty Ltd.
