Fred Bart
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Mr Bart has been the Chairperson of Global since 5 September 2000. Mr Bart is Chairperson of Electro Optic Systems Holdings Limited, Gilt Properties Limited and Security and Equity Resources Limited. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Mr Bart was a former director of Genetic Technologies Limited and Renewable Energy Limited (now Neon Energy). Mr Bart, through numerous corporate entities, specialises in technology, manufacturing, property and marketable securities. Mr Bart was appointed a director and chairperson of APL on 24 September 2010.

Appointed to the Board on 5 September 2000, Mr Dennis is a Chartered Accountant with experience as a director of various public listed companies and trusts. Mr Dennis is also a director of Electro Optic Systems Holdings Limited and Gilt Properties Limited. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has been involved in the investment banking industry and stockbroking industry over the past twenty years. Prior to that time, Mr Dennis was with KPMG, Chartered Accountants in Sydney. Mr Dennis was appointed a director of APL on 24 September 2010.

Appointed a Director on 26 November 2001. Cheryl Bart is a lawyer and company director. She is Chairperson of the South Australian Film Commission, Adelaide Film Festival, Environmental Protection Authority, the Alcohol Education and Rehabilitation Foundation and ANZ Trustees Limited. She is a non‑executive director of ETSA Utilities, Gilt Properties Limited, Spark Infrastructure Group Limited and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Cheryl is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Daniel Lewin is a twenty‑five year veteran of Silicon Valley with extensive experience, in management sales and marketing and business development within the semiconductor, electronic hardware, software and communications industries. Danny has facilitated countless joint ventures and distribution channels by and between small to large companies around the globe, with a particular emphasis on collaboration with Asia Pacific based companies. Danny has led funding activities for a number of companies raising over USD$25 million from institutional, strategic and private investors. Over his career Danny has played vital founding, managerial and Director roles for a number of hi‑tech companies including TerraFirma Technology Alliance (TFLtd), a firm supporting Israeli high‑tech companies achieve critical mass; Transvirtual Technologies Inc., a Silicon Valley, tier‑one venture capital backed company that developed a highly advanced operating system for consumer appliances; ATI a high-tech distance learning company oriented at the Automotive industry and Pneumatic Intelligence Corporation, a privately held company established with Japanese partners in the field of electromechanical component distribution, and the design and fabrication of automation controls and equipment for the semiconductor industry.

Founder/Chief Technology Officer
Yuval Cohen was the CTO of Be4 Ltd, a company he established in 1998 that produced and sold advanced audio sound solutions primarily for the mobile industry. Yuval is the holder of three patents with several more pending in the field of digital signal sound processing and psychoacoustics. His domain of expertise is highly regarded among the many conglomerate companies. Formally Yuval served in senior technical positions at a variety of companies including as specialist to Danikol Electronics Ltd., which specialises in the design and construction of acoustic rooms and home theatre systems. Yuval studies physics in the Technion and is the recipient of a design excellence award from Matlab (the leading development platform for digital signal processing). He served with distinction as a Project Officer in the Optronics branch, at the Ordnance Corps Headquarters, IDF.
| Shay Kaplan
Founder/Chief Scientist
Shay Kaplan is a renowned authority in micromechanical structures. He is the owner and founder of Mizur Technologies; the first MEMS foundry in Israel, which provides design and fabrication of unique MEMS based solutions for civilian and military applications. Shay also confounded Microsense Cardiovascular Systems, which produced implantable wireless pressure sensors; Nanolab which developed proprietary technologies for DARPA; and Orgil Optical Connectors which produced optical fibre arrays and V‑groove chips. Shay began his passion for MEMS after serving key managerial roles National Semiconductor and Tadiran. Shay is the holder of seven granted patents and is often called upon to lecture and consult to academia and industry and to serve as an industry expert for due diligence purposes.
| Lior Carmieli
Chief Financial Officer (part‑time)
Lior Carmieli is an experienced industry veteran who has managed and led the financial and operational aspects of high‑tech companies including complex negotiations and merger and acquisitions. In his capacity as CFO and COO Lior oversaw the acquisition of Sagitta Engineering Solutions Ltd (the semi conductor business), a market leader in fiber optics and semiconductor process inspection equipment to Roper Industries, Inc. (having over USD$1.5 billion in sales) - NYSE: ROP. Previously Lior served as the CFO and VP of operations of Merlynet Communication Systems, an international provider of enterprise software for live customer communication; and at SA Investment Trust where he was also responsible for managing High Tech investments. Lior served with distinction in the Israeli Air Force where after he served as deputy commander of the elite Fighter Pilot Rescue unit of the IAF (669), he headed training in the Special Operations Headquarters, managing multimillion‑dollar budgets and complex planning and cooperation programs. Mr Carmieli holds an MBA in Finance and BA in Economics (summa cum laude) from Bar‑Ilan University, and M. Sc. in Industrial Management (summa cum laude) from Beer‑Sheba University.
| Meir Ben Simon
Vice President of Operations
Meir Ben Simon's career in high‑tech spans over 30 year with a particular focus on applied operational efficiency and effectiveness of product manufacturing and fabrication. Meir diversity of deep‑rooted technical knowhow in mechanics, semiconductors, electronics and software has enabled him to excel in key technical managerial roles at Taro Pharmaceutical, Tower Semiconductor (formally National Semiconductor), and in the Israeli Air Force. Throughout his career Meir’s prime focus has been on the design, acquisition, setup and operation of manufacturing and production testing and assembly lines. Meir also exercised his entrepreneurship ambitions as cofounder of a start‑up in the field of electronic test and inspection equipment.

Eric Harber has spent his career bridging the gap between technology and market. Prior to joining Audio Pixels, Eric served as Senior Product Architect, Applications Engineer, Technical Marketing Engineering, and New Product Definition and Design Engineer at Wolfson Microelectronics (London Exchange ‑ WLF), a global leader in the supply of high performance mixed‑signal semiconductors to the consumer electronics market, renowned for high performance audio and ultra low power consumption that are the heart of many of the worlds highest profile digital consumer goods. Eric completed his Masters in Electronics Engineering at The University of Edinburgh.
| Havi Shimchovich
Director of Administration, Finance & Human Resources
Havi Shimchovich is seasoned in the administrative intricacies of the high tech industry having worked in, and led all relevant capacities at both Illuminator Ltd, a global developer of emergency recovery enterprise software and at Lahat Ltd, a tier‑one import‑export distribution house for electronic components. Havi completed a Bachelors degree in Education after serving in a special unit of the Intelligence forces in the IDF. Havi is responsible for management of all the Company’s administration activities, including accounting, administration, purchasing, retirement plan, and human resource functions for the Company, as well as managing banking and vendor relationships.
