Perth, Sep 27, 2005 (ABN Newswire) - View Resources Ltd and Korab Resources Ltd announced a joint venture in a uranium exploration over a 160 square kilometre area adjacent to the existing Lake Maitland uranium deposit in the Yandal belt, 130 kms southeast of Wiluna in Western Australia.
The Lake Maitland area was discovered in 1971 and contains a significant surficial calcrete uranium deposit covering around 70 square kilometres.
Korab has several projects in the region including gold projects, "Melrose" and "Darlot East", and a polymetallic project, "Throssell".
