Sydney, Nov 17, 2005 (ABN Newswire) - Tectonic Resources NL (ASX: TTL) is pleased to announce results from a recently completed diamond drilling program. This program was designed to provide additional deep drilling information at the Flag deposit and the Western Gem deposit to confirm assumptions made in the geological and economic component of the Phillips River Gold Project feasibility study.

The additional results have exceeded expectations and have significantly extended the depth extent of the known mineralisation at Flag and will further bolster the economics of the Phillips River Project.

Best results include:
- 2.7m at 22.9g/t gold and 2.08% copper in KP432 at the Flag West deposit. This hole is 50m east of the previously announced intersection of 2m at 23.1g/t gold and 3.44% copper in KP456.
- 1.5m at 25.9g/t gold and 1.71% copper in KP471 at the Flag Main deposit.
- 6.9m at 7.08g/t gold and 0.72% copper in KP473 at the Western Gem deposit.

Most significantly these results confirm that the Flag Deposit and the Western Gem area mineralisation remain open.

The deep high grade Flag intersections have confirmed the existence of high grade shoots at depth down plunge from both the Flag Main and Flag West deposits. Down hole electromagnetic data, currently being collected, will be used to more accurately model the position of these high grade shoots.

The diamond core intersections in the above tables are all based on half NQ or HQ drill core, assayed by 50g fire assay for gold and by ore grade AAS techniques for copper and silver. The Western Gem holes are all oriented at 340 degrees on the Kundip grid and the Flag holes are oriented at 360 degrees on the Kundip grid (which is oriented at approximately 4 degrees west of true north). The width of all the above intersections is interpreted to be close to true width.

The information derived from this drilling programme has enabled the Company to develop with greater clarity and certainty the geological and financial models contained within the Phillips River Gold Project feasibility study, which the Company expects to complete over the next week.
