Navigator Resources (ASX: NAV) Limited is engaged in precious and base metal exploration in Western Australia. The Company's operational focus is on gold at Leonora, Western Australia. It owns 100% interest in the Leonora gold project. As of June 30, 2006, the resource at the Leonora gold project was 444,000 ounces of gold. The primary exploration target is the 35-kilometer long Cardinia-Mertondale belt, where the Company has identified two two-kilometer zones of gold mineralization. Drilling of its second two-kilometer gold system at Cardinia has delivered a number of shallow, high-grade gold intersections.
