Olympia Resources Announces Mr Michael Walters as Non-Executive Director
Sydney, June 21, 2007 (ABN Newswire) - Olympia Resources Ltd (ASX: OLY) is pleased to announce that Mr Michael Walters has consented to act as a Non-Executive Director of Olympia Resources, effective today.
Mr Walters has over 25 years experience in the global resources sector including marketing and trading industrial minerals, line management of mining operations, and strategic planning and project development. Mr Walters has worked for leading mining companies, and out of marketing offices in Europe, the UK, Singapore, the Middle East and Australia. These companies include Shell, Billiton, WMC Resources and Consolidated Minerals. He has an Honours Degree in Engineering from the University of Western Australia.
Mr Walter's experience in strategic planning and development and his knowledge of international marketing of mineral products will be of great value to the company as it embarks on the development phase of its industrial minerals and mineral sands projects.
