Sydney, July 23, 2007 (ABN Newswire) - Australian shares have fallen in morning trade following a tumble on Wall Street, with fresh concerns about the U.S. sub-prime crisis weighing down on U.S.-exposed firms such as Westfield Group.
At Midday the ASX200 index has lost 43 points to 6,379 and on the futures market the SPI 200's down 56.
In economic news, Australian producer prices for the second quarter rose by 1 per cent
