Sydney, Oct 26, 2007 (ABN Newswire) - The share market has finished the week in positive territory.

Resource firms led the market higher on the back of record oil prices and stronger base metal prices..

And the S&P/ASX 200 Index closed up 76 points to 6701, and is down 6 points on the week. On the futures market the SPI 200 lifted 91 points.
