The share market retreated today. Most of the fall was due to lower base metal prices dragging down the big miners.
Woolworths moved against the market though after it was upgraded by a well known broker.
And the S&P/ASX 200 Index closed 42 points lower to 6750, and on the futures market the SPI 200 lost 22 points.
