Highlights:
- An inaugural Oxide and Sulphide, Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource estimate is given as 3.9 Mt at 1.1% Cu (a contained 43,200t of copper metal), at a cut-off grade of 0.3% Cu.
- The global Lady Annie Project Mineral Resource inventory now stands at 40 Mt at 0.9% Cu for 358,700 tonnes of contained copper metal underpinning a potential expansion to achieve a 30,000 tpa annual copper production rate.
- The global Mineral Resource inventory now established represents an 86% increase in tonnage and contained copper compared to one year ago.
- The high tenor of oxide copper grade within the deposit is considered favourable for road transport of the ores to Mount Kelly pending optimisation studies.
- Oxide mineralisation at Anthill remains open in several directions with high potential for further resource addition.
- Sparse deeper drilling has identified ore grade sulphide drill intercepts, and this deeper mineralisation potential will be evaluated over the forthcoming year.
- The Anthill Prospect is the most advanced of several geochemical anomalies within the Buckley River Project area. Drill testing of other Prospects will commence in 2008.
