Sydney, Feb 26, 2008 (ABN Newswire) - Robust Resources Limited (ASX: ROL) ("Robust:") announced today that results of a soil geochemical survey at the Cumnock Copper Mine near Orange, NSW, are positive requiring follow-up drilling.

The Cumnock Copper Mine is one of four target areas prospective for gold and base metal mineralisation on Robust's EL 6417 (north of Cadia/ Ridgeway). The other others are the Neurea and Blathery Creek Copper zones, and Gumble Granite skarns.

In December 2007 Robust ran a soil geochemical survey over the Cumnock Mine area. A total of 41 samples (minus 80 mesh fraction) were collected on a 100m x 100m staggered grid. Samples were analysed for Cu, Pb, Zn, As, Mo, Au and Ag.

The soil grid covered the Cumnock Copper mine area plus a small shaft 400m to the East-South- East. About 20% of samples were noted to be anomalous in Au, As, Cu, Pb and Zn. One highly anomalous sample (CMS-019 - 2.95g/t Au, 216ppm Cu) was collected upslope from the small shaft. Anomalies continue north of the Cumnock Mine, off grid.

In the past the Cumnock Cu Mine yielded several tonnes of 10% copper ore with gold (60-90g/t), and silver (90g/t) credits. Mineralisation presents as sulphide blebs and disseminations in quartz veins in Silurian andersites.

The Cumnock tenement is the largest in Robust's Lachlan Belt portfolio.

The information in this announcement that relates to Exploration Results, Mineral Resources or Ore Reserves is based on information complied by Pieter Moeskops BSc PhD DIC who is a Member of The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
