Following the initial roll-out, Byte Power Chongqing is installing additional e-Kiosks to the approved sites in Yubei District. Additional sites have been submitted for approval in Hechuan and these will be rolled out once approval is received. Byte Power Chongqing, with the support of the local authorities, is working to identify suitable sites in Changshou, Jiulongpo and Fuling Districts.
Partnerships
Byte Power Chongqing is finalising a supply agreement with major beverage companies in Chongqing to provide beverages for all the e-Kiosks. Byte Power Chongqing is also close to finalising a partnership agreement with a telecommunication company.
Operational
Based on the feedback gained from the original sites, the e-Kiosk design has been updated to incorporate changes making the e-Kiosks easier to manage and maintain and lower the cost of production.
Operationally, the core system has been completed with the solution providing all the planned services and content via a dedicated network. Additional service opportunities have been identified as the project has developed and these have been included in the system. This includes the addition of e-ticketing hardware which is currently undergoing final testing prior to being rolled out.
Revenues
Revenue is now being realised from the operational e-Kiosks. As further e-Kiosks are rolled out and additional services are added, revenue will continue to grow. Revenues are currently being generated from the rental of the kiosks, advertising and commissions.
