Perth, July 31, 2008 (ABN Newswire) - SAPEX Limited (ASX:SXP) advises that it has today commenced the court processes required by section 411 of the Corporations Act for the convening of the shareholders and optionholders meetings to approve the merger with Linc Energy Limited as previously announced on 12 June 2008.
SAPEX Limited is an energy explorer for oil & gas, coal-seam-gas and potential coal-to-liquids in the Arckaringa and St Vincent Basins onshore South Australia.
SAPEX is currently in a merger process with Linc Energy. A Summary of the process was provided in the company's Quarterly Report which was released to the Australian Stock Exchange on Friday 25 July 2008.
