Perth, Aug 29, 2008 (ABN Newswire) - In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 3.16.1, Golden West Resources Ltd (ASX:GWR) announces the appointment of Martin Lawrence Bennett as a director.
Mr Bennett has been appointed as a director to enable him to act as Chairman of the Extraordinary General Meeting of GWR to be held today, on the basis that the meeting has been called in part to consider resolutions regarding the composition of the Board.
In accordance with GWR's Constitution Mr Bennett's appointment will terminate at the end of the Extraordinary General Meeting.
