Aker Yards ASA (OSL:AKY) Aker Yards ASA has appointed Mr. Sang-Ho Shin as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Mr. Shin comes from a position as vice president of STX Shipbuilding in Korea, where he has been chief for the Jinhae shipyard. Sang-Ho Shin has held several senior management positions within the STX group since 1980, and has a university education within industrial strategy and mechanical engineering.

In Aker Yards, Mr. Shin will focus on production efficiency, procurement, logistics, knowledge transfer, technology & innovation.
