Okmetic Oyj has today received notification that on 15 October 2008 the total holdings that Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company Investments has in Okmetic has risen to 1 149 300 shares. This corresponds to 6.81 percent of Okmetic's share capital and voting rights.

Okmetic Oyj's share capital as recorded in the Trade Register comprises a total of 16,887,500 shares. Each share entitles its holder to one vote.
