CORRECTION TO THE INFORMATION IN THE MARKET
Incorrect and harmful information about Elcoteq SE has been spread to the market by a certain brokerage. The information concerns Elcoteq's inventory level and its impact on company's financial situation. The information spread by the brokerage is completely contrary to the information company's management announced in connection with the interim report on October 23, 2008.
The company has been in contact with Financial Supervision Authority and asked them to investigate the matter. The company has also asked the brokerage to correct the false information that is harmful to the company and its shareholders.
