Focus Minerals Limited (ASX:FML) Delivers Further Highgrade Gold Intercepts At Tindals Mining Centre
Perth, Aug 11, 2009 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Australian-based gold producer Focus Minerals Limited (ASX:FML) is pleased to announce further significant high-grade gold intersections from the current round of drilling being undertaken at the Tindals Mining Centre, part of the Company's Coolgardie Gold Project located in Western Australia's Eastern Goldfields region.
The diamond drill rig is currently drilling underground at the Perseverance deposit, where assay results from the first five holes have just been received.
These results included high-grade down hole intercepts of 5.41m at 33.03g/t, 3.99m at 11.62g/t, and 1.45m at 11.89g/t and were intersected 15 metres below the lowest developed level at Perseverance (225mRL).
Drilling continues at Perseverance down dip from these results, proximal to the high-grade results which were announced to the ASX on 1 April this year.
The current results are part of an ongoing diamond drilling campaign aimed at substantially increasing Focus' gold Reserve base ahead of the commissioning of the Company's 1.2Mtpa Three Mile Hill processing plant later this year.
