Hong Kong, Aug 28, 2009 (ABN Newswire) - Kingsoft Corporation Limited ("Kingsoft" or the "Company"; HKG:3888), China's leading entertainment and applications software developer, distributor and service provider, based on market share, announced that the Company's first 3D online game, JX3, commences open beta testing today. Players can access to the game starting from 12:28 pm today.
Since Aug 17, the Company has activated open beta testing link for players to download JX3. According to Baidu's data, the search volume of keyword "JX3" jumped from 5,000 to nearly 25,000 on Aug 17. It demonstrated the excitement and expectation among players on the game. After the open beta testing, 40 groups of operating servers will be activated. JX3 will not be converted to charging mode immediately. However, charging mode will be on a monthly basis as the game commercialized. The monthly fee will be RMB60.
In addition, Legend of JX II and Legend of CQ, the Company's two other online games, have started open beta testing on August 20 and August 21 respectively.
