Brisbane, Nov 20, 2009 (ABN Newswire) - Bandanna Energy Limited (ASX:BND) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Park Soon IL as a director of Bandanna on 19 November 2009, following the 10% share placement to SAMTAN Aures Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of SAMTAN Co., Ltd.
Mr Park Soon IL is the Senior Managing Director of SAMTAN's Energy & Resources Development Division. Mr Park Soon IL is a qualified mining engineer with 30 years experience in Korean and Indonesian mines. Mr Park Soon IL brings significant coal industry knowledge to the board through his involvement with SAMTAN's Kideco mine in Indonesia.
The Chairman of Bandanna, Mr Jeremy Barlow said that Mr Park Soon IL will make an extremely valuable contribution to the Board, given his long and distinguished mining industry experience in Korea and Asia generally.
