Arrowie Basin (South Australia) -

Paralana-2 Geothermal Exploration Well

Paralana-2 (GEL 178) has been successfully cased and cemented to a depth of 3725 metres and the rig was released on 12 December. The evaluation program for Paralana-2 is to continue early in 2010 to determine the static temperature and rock properties of the basal interval of the well (Beach, well Operator, earning 21%).
