Sydney, Dec 23, 2009 (ABN Newswire) - iSOFT Group Limited (ASX:ISF) Australia's largest listed health information technology company on Tuesday announced deals totaling A$2.3 million for its Hospital Information System (HIS) at hospitals in Malaysia and Oman. OpenApps Sdn Bhd, a partner of the Malaysian government, agreed to a three-year, 4 million ringgit (A$1.3 million) contract for iSOFT's HIS at Keningau Hospital in the state of Sabah. The agreement, which will start in January 2010, includes a patient management system, clinician database, billing, pharmacy and laboratory solutions. The total value consists of a license fee, with the remainder in support and maintenance over the period.
Murchison Metals Limited (ASX:MMX) (PINK:MUMTF) has announced a significant resource increase at the Jack Hills Project in which it holds a 50% interest through Crosslands Resources Ltd. Total JORC compliant Mineral Resources at Jack Hills now stand at 3.0 billion tonnes. The Resource now comprises BFO of 2.86 billion tonnes at 30.6% Fe, DSO of 110 million tonnes at 56.9% Fe and near DSO material of 39 million tonnes at 45% Fe.
Galaxy Resources Limited (ASX:GXY) (PINK:GALXF) said that construction of the processing plant at the Mt Cattlin Spodumene Project near Ravensthorpe, Western Australia is progressing on schedule. Earthworks have been completed over a large percentage of the site, with approximately 70% of the total volume now removed and handover to the concrete contractor achieved. Construction of the run of mine (ROM) stockpile is also well advanced using material from the plant site earthworks and will be completed to final design when mining commences in early March 2010.
