ASX:BAU) (PINK:BXRDF) said on Monday that it signed a Heads of Agreement with Yankuang Corporation (Yankuang) for the joint development and ownership of an alumina refinery in the south west of Western Australia.
Liberty Resources Limited (ASX:LBY) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Australian Transport and Energy Corridor Limited (ATEC). The objective of the MOU is to finance and jointly develop complementary energy and transportation projects in Queensland. By working together, the Partners believe this will not only enhance the ability to fund large projects in Queensland but will also support the establishment of energy projects that are owned, managed or operated by Liberty.
Environmental Clean Technologies Limited (ASX:ESI) advises that on 4 January 2010 The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) issued a cash refund (refundable R&D Tax Offsets) including interest amounting to A$257,672.27 to ECT in relation to the 2007 financial Year. "Combined with the recent placement of A$2.64M, the receipt of these additional funds adds to the solid financial foundation of the company as we advance existing deals and develop new opportunities," said ECT Chief Executive Kos Galtos.
