ASX:DLS) (PINK:DRLLF) is pleased to announce the appointment of David Evans as the company's new Chief Technical Officer. David will oversee and manage all of the technical aspects of the company's exploration, development and production activities. David will start his role in early March 2010.
David has 25 years of upstream oil & gas exploration experience including over 15 years experience in Australia. David joins Drillsearch from his position as Exploration Manager at Vegas Oil & Gas, a privately owned oil & gas company. Prior to this, David has held senior oil & gas exploration positions with several leading international independent oil and gas companies and technical service companies including Burren Energy, Petro-Canada International, Cairn Energy/Command Petroleum, Roxar Limited and Baker Hughes Inteq. David also spent several years in the petroleum exploration arm of the Australian Geological Survey Organization.
David holds a Master of Science, Applied Science, Geology from the University of Canberra, a Post Graduate Diploma, Petroleum Exploration Geology from Oxford Brookes University and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Geology from the University of London.
