Sydney, Feb 22, 2010 (ABN Newswire) - iSOFT Group Limited (ASX:ISF) Australia's largest listed health information technology company today announced two senior appointments to boost the company's global management team.
Mr. Mike Jackman has been appointed Group Operations Director, a new global role to lead and improve the development and delivery of iSOFT's comprehensive portfolio of innovative healthcare IT solutions. In recognition of the importance of the role, he will join iSOFT's executive team. Mr. Jackman, whose appointment begins today, joins iSOFT from Carestream Health (formerly Eastman Kodak), where he conducted business in most major economies worldwide as President, Global Sales and Service. He also held a number of senior positions at IBM, including CTO of the Personal Systems Group and COO of the ThinkPad Team. He will be based in Boston in the US.
Mr. Robert Miller has been appointed to the new position of President, North America, following iSOFT's entry last year into the US market through its acquisition of BridgeForward Software. Mr. Miller, who is currently iSOFT Group Commercial Director, is expected to move to Boston from the UK in March.
