Sydney, Sep 25, 2010 (ABN Newswire) - Earlier this year Aspermont Limited revealed its new editorial direction with the announcement of Ron Berryman, as managing editor (Australia), supported by colleague, Noel Dyson, as deputy managing editor (Australia).
The move sees Aspermont strengthening its editorial knowledge base, experience and direction in the (predominantly) business-to-business sectors that it reports on.
With more than 40 years experience in journalism, Ron Berryman began his career with the West Australian before working with the Herald & Weekly Times, ABC radio and television, and News Limited before returning to Perth to join the New York Times Group to help establish a new Australian national television magazine.
He was appointed media manager for the World Swimming Championships in Perth in 1998 for a one-year secondment before returning to journalism.
Speaking that the Excellence in Mining 2010 conference in Sydney, Ron shares some thoughts on the conference and Aspermont's publishing growth in the region.
