ASX:BPT) (PINK:BEPTF) ("Beach") is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mr Gordon Moseby, General Manager - Business Review and Planning, as a Director to its wholly owned subsidiaries Australian Petroleum Investments Pty Limited (API), Delhi Petroleum Pty Limited (Delhi) and Delhi Holdings Pty Limited (DHL), which collectively own an average 26% interest in the Cooper / Eromanga Basin.
Mr Moseby holds a Bachelor of Petroleum Engineering degree from the University of New South Wales, and was initially employed by Santos Ltd (ASX:STO) (PINK:SSLTY) evaluating, planning and implementing oil & gas developments in the Cooper & Eromanga Basins. Following this he worked in the Papua New Guinea foldbelt with Chevron Niugini and Oil Search Ltd on the Moran Extended Welltest development team, the subsequent Moran Full Field Development and other neighbouring projects.
Mr Moseby joined Beach in early 2002 to oversee the operation and development of Beach's oil and gas assets, and in 2010 was promoted to his current position to more broadly focus on the company's Corporate Planning and Business Development. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), currently serving as the SPE South Australian section Chairman, and is also a member of the Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia (PESA).
