Queensland Mining Corporation has consistently been a copper gold play, concentrating its exploration and development activities in the Cloncurry region of north west Queensland.
Exploration activity has been on projects both north and south of Cloncurry.
The company conducted a successful Initial Public Offering (IPO) in early 2008, to accelerate progress towards the objective of being a producer of both copper and gold.
A number of Exploration Permits and Mining Licences had been accumulated at the time of the IPO.
