Sydney, July 11, 2011 (ABN Newswire) - Indochine Mining Limited (ASX:IDC) is pleased to announce the completion of a drilling program over the Kratie North gold project in Cambodia. Encouraging mineralisation has been intersected, with initial results expected within two weeks. Two main targets were drill tested at Kratie North, in a 16-hole program (2216 metres) of diamond drill core. Pyrite and pyrrhotite mineralisation was intersected in a number of holes over the first target.
In Papua New Guinea, contracts have been signed to commence a drilling program in the next three weeks over the flagship project at Mt Kare. Since shareholder approval was reached, a camp has been re-established, after discussions with local communities.
