ASX:ERJ) are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Steve Lowe as Director of Business Development effective immediately.
Mr. Lowe's appointment is designed to accelerate the realisation of power purchase agreements with several existing prospects, progress engagements with prospective customers, and identify and develop new sales opportunities.
Enerji will benefit from the strong senior relationships that Mr Lowe has developed with major energy and mining companies in both national and international markets. His most recent role was as the Head of Energy Services with Tricom. For more than five years prior to his time with Tricom, he held the role of General Manager Trading with Integral Energy; a government owned electricity, distribution and retailing company. He is also the executive chairman of Carbon Conscious Ltd (ASX:CCF), and he will share his time equally between that role and Enerji.
Mr Lowe has worked in the capital and financial markets for more than 30 years with 13 years extensive experience in energy commodities.
Mr. Lowe is well acquainted with Enerji's business having consulted to the Company since October 2010.

Mr. Lowe joins at an exciting time with the Company's first Opcon Powerbox set to sail from Gothenburg, Sweden, on Wednesday August 17, 2011 (just over 2 weeks from now). The unit will be commissioned in November and will generate Enerji's first revenue in December this year.
