Sydney, Nov 30, 2011 (ABN Newswire) - Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd. (SHA:601899) (HKG:2899) (PINK:ZIJMF) has opened Zijinshan National Mining Park in Fujian, China, one of the 28 National Mining Parks first approved by the Chinese government.

Covering a total planned area of 35 km2, Zijinshan National Mining Park is divided into 7 areas: the sightseeing area, the production and management area, the recreation area, the leisure area, the ecological sightseeing and camping area, the reception area, and the administration area.

The Zijinshan National Mining Park is located in Zijinshan, an area with abundant gold and copper resources, as well as historical and cultural resources. Since the early 1990s, Zijin Mining Group has successfully explored the area, with many significant gold and copper discoveries. While exploring mineral resources, the Group has also paid great attention to environmental protection.
