Former Australian Prime Minister John Howard to launch Ian Plimer's new book 'How to Get Expelled from School'
How to Get Expelled from School
John Howard's agreement to launch the book at this special Sydney Mining Club event leaves no doubt about his views on Labor's duckshoving its new Carbon Tax into legislation, and of course his regard for Plimer and his courageous stand against climate propaganda.
Climate skeptics abound in the mining business for two reasons: First because miners make carbon and Australia sells 300Mt of it each year on the global market, and secondly because most geologists, the main readers of the bibliography of climate signatures that lie stored in Earth's rocks, are employed in the exploration and mining business. As is Plimer.
It promises to be a great evening. We hope you come and make your view heard, whatever it is!

Here is what Václav Klaus, President of the Czech Republic (a man who also by the way having the prescience to dissuade his now economically healthy Republic from joining the Eurozone) has to say about Plimer's new book…
Are pupils, parents and the public being fed political propaganda on climate change? Now is your chance to find out. Professor Plimer gives 101 simple questions with answers for you to ask teachers, activists, journalists and politicians. The climate industry adjusts the temperature record and withholds raw data, computer codes and information from scrutiny. Computer predictions of a scary future don't agree with measurements. In the past natural climate changes have been larger and more rapid than the worst-case predictions yet humans adapted. Is human-induced global warming the biggest financial and scientific scam in history? If it is, we will pay dearly.
Books will be on sale at the event and Ian Plimer will be available to inscribe them.

About Sydney Mining Club
The first Sydney Mining Club forum was held in March 1997.
The initial impetus for the formation of the Sydney club was discontent in the mining community with many aspects of the professional institutes and most of all with their ability to bring people together. Our activism led to the first changes to the constitution of the largest Institute in more than a century.
