Perth, Jan 31, 2012 (ABN Newswire) - Perth-based clean power company Enerji Limited (ASX:ERJ) has been advised that the works approval required from the WA Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) before works can commence on site in Carnarvon is on track to be issued on 3 February 2012. This will clear the way for the Company to commence on-site construction of the waste heat to power system including installation of Australia's first Opcon Powerbox.

Enerji's project plan shows the first genset exhaust modifications occurring on 5 February with subsequent modifications scheduled for the remainder of the month. Installation of the Opcon Powerbox is scheduled between 14 - 16 February.

Installation works will continue into March with commissioning scheduled to be completed during that month.

Further construction updates, highlights and milestones will be announced in due course.
