Sydney, Feb 7, 2012 (ABN Newswire) - Microequities Asset Management is launching a new Fund, the High Income Value Microcap Fund.
As some of our investors would like to combine long-term capital growth with regular income and current market pricing conditions have created a fertile hunting ground for new opportunities, we have identified a number of quality microcap businesses that are paying sustainable dividends. Given the current pricing environment, these can be purchased at formidable yields.
The foundation of this new Fund is to capitalise on these opportunities, whilst providing a platform for long-term capital growth plus regular cash income for our investors. The High Income Value Microcap Fund will buy those businesses generating grossed up earnings yields of at least 10% at the time of purchase, and expect to generate a strong level of franking credits.
An important feature of the structure of our High Income Value Microcap Fund is that Microequities Asset Management will not earn any performance fees on any dividend income received by the Fund. The intention of the Fund is to generate regular cash distributions from dividend income, and provide long term capital growth.
