FRA:5WM) today announces that its Chairman, Jack Kaye has joined in an advisory capacity, the Committee on Advanced Technology for the US based International Charity, "The Cure is Now"..
The Cure is Now (www.TheCureisNow.org) is committed to funding and supporting the highest quality research that has the greatest potential to make a significant impact on the scientific community and patients throughout the world.
Jack Kaye, Chairman of Westhouse Medical Services commented: "I am absolutely delighted to be invited to contribute to this charitable organisation. I hope through Westhouse we can add value to the organisation and contribute to improving and developing medical technology for the benefit of patients worldwide".
Westhouse is currently developing a number of medical devices, including BreastCheck - a new low-cost, non-invasive breast cancer screening product which can act as a precursor to mammogram scanning. BreastCheck is due for launch in 2013.
Westhouse recently acquired from US-listed Sunridge International via. Sunridge's subsidiary, Ophthalmic International Inc, a glaucoma procedure called PNT, which could revolutionise the way glaucoma is treated globally.
