ASX:PXR) is pleased to announce that it has completed an extensive sampling program across the 43 ha location and submitted approximately 150kg of coal samples to a laboratory in Samarinda for coal quality and processing analysis.
Coal samples were collected along strike and down dip of the coal seams within the 43 ha location to ensure a representative sampling program. The sampling program is designed to confirm our understanding of the coal quality within the 43 ha location and is part of the greater exploration program in confirming depth, thickness and spread of coal seams below surface.
Next steps
Padang will keep shareholders informed of any material developments regarding the exploration program at the Paser Project. Further, the Company continues to review additional projects that meet investment criteria within Kalimantan and in particular the Paser Region.
