Appointment of Chief Operating Officer

ASX:EML) (EMCHF:OTCMKTS) is pleased to announce that Mr Alastair Wilkie has been appointed Chief Operating Officer, effective 19 November 2014.
In this newly created role, Mr Wilkie will be responsible for managing and optimising the commercial and operational activities of Emerchants Payment Solutions Limited in line with the Group's overall strategy.

Mr Wilkie has a background in information technology and business development and brings with him over twenty years' experience in senior leadership roles in Australia, Europe and North America.
Before joining Emerchants, Mr Wilkie was the Executive General Manager - Distribution and Marketing Services at Indue Ltd, an Approved Deposit taking Institution providing aggregated services to the Australian Payment System. At Indue, Mr Wilkie was responsible for business development, programme implementation, marketing and client management.
Prior to joining Indue, Mr Wilkie was CEO of Monteray Group Ltd, an ASX listed company which provided software, services and solutions for the financial services market. He has also held senior executive roles overseas at Bull Information Systems, Vision Consulting and ExploreIT.
Mr Wilkie has a Diploma in Management Studies from W.L. College in Scotland and studied Business Administration at the Executive Management Institute, ESSEC in Paris. He will be based at Emerchants' head office in Brisbane.
