Quarterly Activities Report

Perth, Jan 23, 2015 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Archer Exploration Limited (googlechartASX:AXE) announce the Quarterly Activities Report for the period ending December 2014 with significant highlights.

GRAPHITE

Scout drilling completed at Wilclo, Wilclo South, Argent, Francis, Lacroma and Balumbah with holes at Wilclo and Wilclo South intersecting visible flake graphite. A total of 27 holes for 1,678 metres were drilled. Assays are pending.

Further testing of Wilclo South oxide recovered extra large, large, medium and fine flake graphite at commercial grades.

Campoona Mine Lease Proposal (MLP) studies progressed during the quarter.

An agreement was reached with UraniumSA Limited to transfer the title to EL4693 Wildhorse Plain to Archer, subject to ministerial consent. This tenement hosts the Campoona Graphite Project.

Excellent progress continues into graphene research through the University of Adelaide with various "slow release" prototype samples prepared for solubility tests.

LEIGH CREEK MAGNESITE

Discussions with interested parties for divestment or a joint venture arrangement for the project commenced.

SPRING CREEK COPPER

Diamond drill testing will take place once an application for access has been submitted and granted to the historic high grade copper mine (+10% Cu).

FINANCIAL Cash in bank on 31st December 2014 of $3.046 million.

$721,000 was spent on exploration and project evaluation during the quarter.

Waddikee Drilling and Metallurgy

Scout drilling took place at Wilclo, Wilclo South, Argent, Francis, Lacroma and Balumbah with holes at Wilclo and Wilclo South intersecting visible flake graphite. Conditions for the drilling teams were good and a total of 27 holes and 1,678 metres were drilled for graphite. The assays from this drilling are pending.

Proposals to conduct initial beneficiation testwork on drill samples from the recent drilling from the Waddikee EL were received from laboratories in Adelaide. This 'sighter' testwork will be scheduled when the drill samples have been split and blended.

A composite RC sample (drill hole WG045) from the oxide zone of the Wilclo South graphite deposit produced extra large, large, medium and fine flake graphite at grades of 91-93% Cg.

The shape of the recovered flake particles showed a high degree of graphite release from the predominantly quartz gangue, which infers potential for efficient recovery of graphite at relatively coarse grind sizes.

Small scale laboratory tests have inferred overall 42-55% of the graphite is recoverable as flake products.

Concentrate was recovered through conventional mineral separation processes including grinding in a rod mill, froth flotation, and then sieved into sized fractions before batch beneficiation on a shaking table and Haultain super-panner.

The expectation is that concentrate grades from Wilclo South will improve with further process steps such as light regrinding and recleaner stages of flotation and tabling.
