Westhouse Medical Services Plc (FRA:5WM) Announces Appointment of Mr Kevin Riches as New Non-Executive Director

Healthcare specialist Westhouse Medical Services Plc (FRA:5WM) today announces the appointment of Mr Kevin Riches as Non-Executive Director. Kevin has over 25 years experience in start up and mature businesses, both large and small.

The sectors have ranged from IT and communications through environmental and finance to PFI in hospitals and Education.

Kevin has a proven track record as a change agent and has an excellent, mature network of business leaders, contacts and partners. Recent successful business engagements include SpinVox, Dennis Publishing, Carteme, Phones 4 U, PRS and PTS Consulting.

He is a Director and Shareholder at European American Capital, Carteme, Applied Cytometry, Plasma Europe and at Waterbridge Capital

Kevin is passionate about value creation, often at a consumer level, usually delivered via B2B relationships.

Westhouse is currently developing a number of medical devices, including BreastCheck - a new low-cost, non-invasive breast cancer screening product which can act as a precursor to mammogram scanning. BreastCheck is due for launch in 2013.

Westhouse recently acquired from US-listed Sunridge International via. Sunridge's subsidiary, Ophthalmic International Inc, a glaucoma procedure called PNT, which could revolutionise the way glaucoma is treated globally.
