Western Mining Network Ltd (ASX:WMN) announced that an MOU has been signed to acquire PT Graphindo Nusantara which owns two graphite tenements in the Jangkang district of West Kalimantan, Indonesia. The company has an inferred resource of 8 million tonnes grading at 12% total graphitic content. As demand for natural graphite grows, WMN is perfectly positioned to become one of the world's largest carbon companies.

Thomson Resources (ASX:TMZ) advised that drilling results from its Bygoo tin project near the Ardlethan tin mine, NSW. Ten RC holes totaling 1,060m were drilled to confirm historic drill intersections and extend the mineralisation along strike and at depth. The best results included 13m at 1.0% tin and 5m at 1.3% tin.

Hastings Rare Metals Ltd (ASX:HAS) said that the first assay results from the Pre-Feasibility study drilling programme at its Yangibana Project in the Gascoyne Region of Western Australia is continuing to intersect neodymium-rich mineralisation. Drilling in 2015 tested targets adjacent to the Bald Hill South deposit where JORC Indicated Resources of 1.23 million tonnes at 1.22% Total Rare Earth Content (TREO).
