Today SEEK (ASX:SEK) (OTCMKTS:SKLTY) announced that it has entered into an agreement for lease to relocate its head office in 2020-2021 to a purpose build premises to be constructed at 60 Cremorne Street, Cremorne, Melbourne Australia.

SEEK has partnered with Cremorne Properties to build a unique world class workplace in the vibrant tech hub of Cremorne. The envisioned bespoke design supports the unique culture and needs of the business that was founded in Melbourne and has gone on to become the world's leading online employment marketplace business.

The new building will be designed to support the growth of the company and provide the technology, workspaces and environment required to drive collaboration and flexibility.

"Our people are our biggest asset and the investment we are making into the new building reflects the value we place on our people and our commitment to being a workplace of choice. The brand-new building will bring our people together, help us do our best work well into the future, supporting our purpose and culture in a space that is truly "us", said CEO and Co-Founder Andrew Bassat.

The building will be designed by international design firm Hassell, in keeping with the traditional brick warehouse facades distinct to the Cremorne area. It will include extensive outdoor social areas including rooftop garden with cityscape views, separate innovation hub, indoor/outdoor flexible working spaces and dynamic internal atrium to create a world-class experience for SEEK's people. The building will set a new benchmark for environmental sustainability, incorporating a range of innovative design features that will not only promote a healthy office for its people but a sustainable one too.

SEEK has grown significantly over the past five years as it reinvests for growth. There are 900 employees in ANZ and 800 located in the current Melbourne head office. SEEK will remain at its current head office at 541 St Kilda Road until the building is complete.

SEEK has been an AON Hewitt Employer of Choice for ten years running.
