Hochschild currently operates four underground mines, three located in southern Peru and one in southern Argentina as well as one open pit mine in northern Mexico. All underground operations are epithermal vein mines and the principal mining method is cut and fill. The ore at operations is processed into silver-gold concentrate or dore.
